Posts: 1619 05/25/08 13:32:11	Tags : None A friend of mine gave me a Dell Axim x50V I want to use it for internet Access the problem is I don't have a clue how to access the internet. I tried with my cell phone using bluetooth but that was a bust. I read somewhere about a network card does anyone know what that is where I get it and how i make it work for me? Thanks!

Posts: 9708 05/26/08 21:08:25	Well, if you have wireless at your house, that would be the easiest place to try to figure it out. From the ones I have seen I think it has WiFi built in. I am just not at all familiar with PDAs. :(

Posts: 9708 05/28/08 01:27:30	Yes, first you need to find out if it has WiFi... second you need to find a place that you know has a WiFi signal... third go there and open the program on the PDA which detects wireless networks and you should see the network... fourth, try to connect to it. If you go to a starbucks or panera bread there should be instructions on how to connect laying around. They may be slightly different than your PDA, but it may be close enough to get you by. It really should be pretty much plug and play with the exception of you may have to enter the network name and password, which would be provided by the location.

Posts: 1944 06/02/08 22:21:22	Try doing a google search for the type of pda you have. I have the Nokia 770 and I had to download a special internet browser to get it to work with ebay. I found a website that walked me through each step with link to the downloads. You may find some information on how to make it wifi ready, especially from some of these computer geek websites.
